Venues

At the east end of Charlottesville's historic downtown mall, the pavillion is a large concert venue. This will be outdoors and the dance surface is concrete.

There will be food and tasty beverages from vendors. Remember to BRING YOUR ID because they will card you.

Parking
Street parking is available along Market, Water and all cross streets between 1st and 10th Streets. Paid lots and garages are also available.

In the heart of Charlottesville's "Corner" district, the Oxbridge Ballroom is located in the lower level of Gradute Court Apartments. The floor is polished hardwood. You'll be surrounded by tons of food options, shopping, and sights to see in this landmark area of C'ville!

Parking
We have reserved a limited number of parking spaces in a parking lot that is a short walk to the ballroom. Parking passes are available on a first-come, first-serve basis to full-weekend pass workshop attendees. We will be sending out a parking request form two weeks before the event. You must fill this out to be guaranteed parking. We also ask that all workshop attendees attempt to carpool so as many folks as possible will be able to utilize this parking garage! Street parking is available along 14th St as well as many of the side streets, but remember that Labor Day weekend is UVA's first home game, which can lead to major parking and traffic issues. Arrive early and plan on dealing with some traffic on Saturday.

The studio for the Charlottesville Tango club will host a four-hour beginner workshop on Saturday taught by Dan Respch and Jennifer Sowden! Located right in the heart of downtown Charlottesville, you'll have plenty of opportunities for food and vintage shopping on the Downtown Mall.

McIntire Park is one of Charlottesville's most popular city parks featuring baseball fields, a skate park, nature trails, & more. We've reserved Shelter #1 for our afternoon dance and will be grillin' up some food and playing DJ'd music until the park closes! The floor is concrete, so please bring appropriate footwear.
